What Choo Talkin' Bout?

I'm beginning to wonder how tall Benicio is going to be. He seems to be growing at an extreme rate (his 0-3 month clothes don't fit anymore) and our Dr. has declared him above-average in height and weight. I must say I was pretty happy to hear that he is "above-average". Hopefully he continues with this trend because his Daddy used to be above-average until he began to think that school was for suckers and his grades started slipping. Then he began to hang with the wrong crowd, smoking things that were once foreign to him, and pretty much making his parents crazy. Hopefully Benicio doesn't follow in those footsteps. Straight and arrow Benicio...Straight and Bloody Arrow...or else.

I've already began writing my first "say not to drugs" speech. It goes like this:

"Son...drugs are bad, mmm-kay...If you do drugs...you're bad...mmm-kay."

I think it rivals the whole Nancy Reagan "Nope To Dope" Campaign of the late 80's.

Rock-on Benicio! Drug free of course.

You talking to me...punk!

LAKERS UPDATE:

I must apologize for my last rant regarding my disgust for Kobe...Please note that it was done in half jest. Matches made a comment about it being "Anti-Lakers". That wasnot the way I meant it. I've been a Lakers fan since 1984 (minus 1990, the year I had Ms. Clark as a teacher and I purposely split allegiance out of spite...damn you Ms. Clark!!!) Speaking of Ms. Clark, I was just thinking of her and the fact that she taught me one of the most important lessons (and probably the most useful of any thing I learned in school): looking people in the eye. And even though in public I give credit for this lesson to Mr. Miyagi - "Always look eye!" - Ms. Clark was the first person to put that idea out there for me. That bit of advice has gotten me very far. Thanks Ms. Clark...now where was I. Oh yeah, going to sleep. Goodnight. And Go Lakers (except for 1990)!
