Sleep Training 101
So the wife and I (more wife than I) have been trying to get Benicio to sleep in his own Crib. It's been going well...Kinda'. He'll do a few hours - last night was a record, coming in at just under 5 hours - but then always end up back in our bed. Today I would like to analyze the difference between the Crib Sleeping and Mommy and Daddy's Bed Sleeping.
Exhibit A:

Notice the "caged-bird" look in his eye. If I wasn't BeniciosDaddy, I would think that he was trying to break those bars using his mental telepathy. He almost has a Cool Hand Luke look to him. Believe me, when I see him like this I don't even mention eating 50 eggs.
Exhibit B:

Benicio in the morning (in our bed of course) is a sight to see. So happy and energetic. Just wanting to reach out and take the world in his hands, look at it and say, "Hey world, what's up? You want to do jumpies?"
So BeniciosParents will continue the struggle that has been dubbed "The War On Sleeping". Stay tuned...
p.s. Tips are greatly appreciated...and no Nani, we are not going to put a shot of Tequila in his bottle. BeniciosDaddy don't share that stuff!
